Trunk or treat

Come and decorate a trunk and give out candy. Alternatively come and walk with your child to see the different displays. It is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

June School

June School runs from 06/04-06/21.  On Tuesday 06/04, we will be starting at 11:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm so the June School teachers can attend the end-of-the-year faculty meeting.  

On all other days, June School starts at 9:15 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Drop off and pick up will be at the front door by the office.

Before School Program

The staff will not be in the building before 9:15. Mrs. Lilya will be offering a before-school program.  Please contact her if you would like your child to arrive before 9:15. wendy.lilya@eastoncountryday.org

Water Play

We will have popsicles and water activities each Friday afternoon. Please make sure your child brings a bathing suit, sunscreen, shoes appropriate for water play, (we've had many bee stings when children walk around with bare feet) and a towel.

Week One- Nature

Week Two- Aquatic Life

Week Three- Islands
Creative Skills

Week One- STEM and Cooking

Week Two- Kickball, Volleyball, or drawing and Outdoor Skills (nature activities and nature photography)

Week Three- Student-taught lessons and kickball, soccer, or jewelry design

Theme Days- Students can wear clothing and/or accessories to represent each theme

Transportation and Lunches

Panera will still be delivering lunches throughout June School.  Please continue to order lunches just as you did during the school year if you would like to use this service. Every student should bring lunch, snacks, and a water bottle each day.

Bus transportation will be provided if your child takes the bus throughout the school year.

Field Trips

06/13- a trip to the Milford Audubon Society to participate in the tidepool program. 

06/20 - a trip to Fairfield Theater Company to watch High School Musical performed by the ECDS drama students.

Supplies

The students do not need laptops.  Most of these materials are used daily.  The children will also need a backpack.  Uniforms are not required.
